EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Arlene joined CHC in July of 2016. She holds an Master in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Kutztown University. Arlene has worked in several other Lehigh Valley non-profit settings and comes to CHC with a background in administration, community-building, fundraising, budgeting and program planning. She is active with the Liberty High School Alumni Band and Friends of Music, Inc. Arlene is an avid swimmer and obedience/therapy dog trainer.

DIRECTOR, PREVENTION AND STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAM. Kris brings a background in adult education and experience in planning, organizing, and implementing solutions. She previously served as Education Services Manager providing leadership for three programs: adult literacy, family literacy with early childhood education, and summer learning (K-4).

SENIOR DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS, PRGRAM EFFECTIVENESS. Karen has been with CHC for over 16 years. An avid family person, Karen lives in Nazareth with her husband, 4 children and 2 grandchildren and enjoys reading, going for walks with her dogs, and playing baseball with her grandsons. Karen truly believes that given the right tools people will make good, healthy choices. A Certified Prevention Specialist, she is also trained in Program fidelity and adaptations, Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Prevention framework, Student Assistance program, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Trauma Informed Care, Substance Abuse Prevention, and First Aid Mental Health. Karen holds a BA in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida and is a certified Elementary teacher in both PA and FL.

SAP LIAISON. McKenna joined CHC September 2018. She holds a B.A. in Psychology & Public Health from Muhlenberg College and is a recent grad from Kutztown’s M.S School Counseling program. McKenna has served on a SAP Team since Fall 2017 as part of her school counseling certification. Previously, she worked for a local private psychology practice. In her free time, McKenna is an avid hiker and animal lover.

OFFICE MANAGER. Annie has worked at CHC almost since its inception and acts as historian to the many changes CHC has gone through over the years. She lives in Nazareth with and is the mother to two daughters and Grannie to two grandchildren. Annie enjoys reading, gardening, and attending Nazareth Girl’s basketball games.

Brandon Chasse, PhD
SENIOR PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Brandon joined the CHC in October 2018. He has a PhD in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Studies, a field that explores the forces of the psyche and how they stimulate the body’s capacity to heal itself, from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Before working for the CHC, Brandon lived in Phoenix, AZ and held a private practice providing HeartMath® training to help individuals reduce stress and build resilience and also did outreach for a reputable behavioral health treatment center. Outside of working at the CHC, Brandon enjoys exploring the East Coast with his wife Geny, who is currently a medical resident for St. Luke’s University Health Network.

SAP LIAISON. Stephanie joined the CHC staff as a SAP Liaison in November of 2016. She holds a BA in English from Moravian College. Before joining the CHC staff Stephanie worked at Whitehall Middle School in 8th grade Special Education, where one of her duties was to establish and maintain working relationships between teachers, parents, students.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Before joining CHC, Pam was employed in the advertising department at The Express-Times/lehighvalleylive.com over 40 years. She and her husband, Bob, live in Bethlehem and are the parents of two daughters.

SAP LIAISON. Eliana has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and an Associate Degree in Child Development from Northampton Community College. She served as a Preschool, Drama and English teacher working with all age groups from newborns to college students. Previous to CHC, she worked as a Student Support Specialist for the PA Migrant Education Program. While there, she served students, families, school and community holistically to support the students’ and families’ success. She created planned and implemented services, programs and workshops.

PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Taylor joined the Center for Humanistic Change in October 2018. Taylor obtained her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Cedar Crest College where she is currently working to complete her Master’s Degree in the Art of Education. Prior to coming to the Center, Taylor worked in many school districts as a Substitute teacher and Instructional Assistant. She has also worked in an Early Care and Education Center as an associate teacher where she worked with children ages infant to Pre-K. Outside of working at the Center, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband, and puppy, as well as traveling as much as she can.

SAP ADMINISTRATOR. Karen is a retired educator in the Bethlehem Area School District with a Master’s Degree in Education from Penn State University. During her Freedom High School tenure she was Department Chair of the Health and Physical Education department, head coach of the girls Gymnastic team and the girls Tennis Team. Karen was inducted into the Freedom HS Athletic Hall of Fame. Karen was also the SAP Coordinator at Freedom for 20 years, and an executive member of the PASAP Board of Directors for 7 of the 8 years that she served. She was also a member of the Dept. of Education SAP Advisory Board for 6 years. Now employed at the Center for Humanistic Change, Karen has been a Commonwealth Approved Trainer since 2009. She does many different types of SAP related trainings, organizes 4 annual SAP Consortiums .

GRANT WRITER. Theresa joined CHC in July of 2017. She holds an MSW from Marywood University and a BSW from Cedar Crest College. Theresa has worked in several other Lehigh Valley non-profit settings and comes to CHC with a background in fundraising, budgeting and program planning. She is very active in the Lehigh Valley arts community as a dance instructor as well as a member of a local tap dance company.

Carla joined CHC in January, 2019. She brings an administration background in ordering and claims processing. Carla is bi-lingual English/Spanish and holds an associates degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania School of Business. She has three wonderful children, Marcos 15 yrs old, Naisha 13 yrs old and Milliany 5yrs old, and enjoys traveling and watching movies at home.
SAP LIAISON. Delia Mitchell Joined CHC September 10, 2018 as a SAP Liaison. She holds a Master’s in Justice Administration and Paralegal Degree from the University of Louisville, Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Kentucky State University. Delia has worked in Social Impact for 15 years. She’s worked for the Jefferson County Public School System as a Family Service Worker, she gained her (CADAC) Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Certification while doing one on one Addiction Counseling and Relapse prevention groups. Delia became a Certified Life Coach in March, 2015 and has provided trainings on Self Care and parenting groups. Outside of work Delia teaches the elementary Sunday school class at her church.

DATA SPECIALIST. Donna was born and raised in Allentown. She worked 26 years for Sprirax/Sarco as a cost accounting clerk, then 15 years at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley as a liaison between donor and agencies. Donna started at CHC as a part-time employee September 4, 2017. In her free time she volunteers @ McKinley Elementary School in Allentown. Donna has been married for 40 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Noel joined the Center for Humanistic Change in 2018 and lives in Bethlehem with his wife of 17 years and two children. He currently prepares and facilitates several programs for the incarcerated population. He has worked in small group settings for many years, whether it is facilitating or developing a group or groups. He is also engaged in community outreach work which includes several elementary and middle schools. He is currently pursuing a BA in Psychology and Counseling through Liberty University. Noel is currently a Senior Pastor of a thriving multi-cultural church in Bethlehem. His greatest passion is to see people’s lives transformed.

SENIOR PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Neda joined the Center in 2017. She has a background in social work and in the health behavior sciences. Her professional experiences include outreach for a juvenile justice diversionary project in South Carolina, teaching health literacy to inner city youth, and behavioral modification with youth.

SENIOR MANAGER, SPECIAL PROJECTS. Lisa has participated in the development of programs such as Current Drug Trends, HOPE (Heroin and Opioid Prevention Education), and Awareness and Action: How We Can Help Prevent Suicide. Lisa facilitates a variety of CHC programs throughout the Lehigh Valley. She also mentors middle and high school students through CHC’s Project SUCCESS program. A graduate of Lehigh University, Lisa completed her M.Ed. at DeSales University, and taught fourth and sixth grade students in the East Penn School District before joining the Center in 2013.
