SAP TRAINING SCHEDULED FOR MARCH

CHC is holding a 3-day SAP Certification Training for the Lehigh Valley. The training, starting March 27th, prepares participants to be on SAP Teams. The pertinent subject of Cyberbullying will be covered among other topics. The training will be held at CHC, 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem on Tuesday, March 27th, and Thursday & Friday, March 29th & 30th. Certification and 30 hours of ACT 48 credits will be awarded upon successful completion of all competency-based activities including post training assignments. The cost is $375.00 and includes a continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. To register go to the Event Calender on the March 27th date.

SAVE THE DATE: JUNE 2, 2012!!

That's the date of this year's Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. Come and join the fun! Meet and greet friends new and old, get some exercise and support your favorite non-profit! Bring the family and friends, even make your own team. There will be a raffle, T-shirts, "goody bags", and more. Look for more info re: registration etc., coming soon on our Website .

Our heartfelt thanks to all who came out last year. We're looking forward to seeing you all this year for another successful Walk!

ACCENT THE POSITIVE IN 2012!!

Make 2012 the best year yet! Make positive choices and changes! Here's what the Australian Publication: "Body + Soul"* suggests you do:

1) Choose positive relationships. Avoid those who bring negativity into your life. You deserve better!

2) Write down your goals. Decide how to make them happen. If not, brainstorm ways to make things better for yourself. Try a different approach!

3) Make time for yourself: Schedule a time to do something you really enjoy. A little alone time does wonders for your mental health. You deserve it!

4) Become congruent: Be honest about your goals and feelings. Talk with friends and family. Sharing will help alleviate the burden.

5) Don't feel guilty: Guilt is a waste of emotion. You can not change the past only the future. Guilt will only keep you from being happy today. Learn from the past and create a better future!

6) Ban the word "should": Remove "should" and replace it with "If I really wanted to I could...". You'll feel less guilty and be better able to decide what you really want to do and when & how to do it.
