CHC's three-day certification training will prepare school and agency staff members to serve on Student Assistance Program teams. Special emphasis on the importance of parental involvement in the SAP process. Participants will learn about ATOD and substance abuse, mental health issues, resiliency, and suicide prevention.
This training is designed according to standards and competencies issued by the Dept.of Education.
SAP certification and 30 hours of Act 48 credits wil be give upon completion of all competency-based activities including post training assignments.

As a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certified Approved Trainer for Student Assistance Programs, CHC is dedicated to training elementary school and agency personnel using the most current standards and competencies. Trainees attending this workshop must arrive on time, stay the duration of the workshop, and complete all assignmetns in order to receive Act 48 Professional education hours.


All training sessions will be held at Center for Humanistic Change, 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem, PA.
