  • Secondary Personnel Student Assistance Program Training - September 8, 14 & 15, 2010This three day certification training will prepare school and agency staff members to serve on Student Assistance Teams. Participants will learn about ATOD, substance abuse, mental health issues, suicide and resiliency. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of parental involvement in the SAP process. This training is designed according to the standards and competencies issued by the PA Dept. of Education. SAP Certification and 30 hours of ACT 48 credits will be given upon completion of all competnecy-gased activities including post training assignments.

    Training Dates: September 8, 14, and 15, 2010, 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Cost is $350.00.

  • Elementary Student Assistance Program Training - September 8, 14, 20, 2010As a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certified Approved Trainer for Student Assistance Programs, the Center for Humanistic Change is dedicated to training elementary school and agency personnel using trhe most current standards and competencies. Participants attending this training must arrive on time, stay the duration of the training, and complete all assignments in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours.

    Training Dates: September 8, 14, and 20, 2010, 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Cost is $350.00.
