Creating Lasting Family Connections: Getting Real

Students will learn that open, honest, and respectful sharing of thoughts and feelings is "getting real." They will build communications skills by role-play and practicing I-messages, will learn to differentiate between intimate and defensive responses, and identify feelings associated with each response. A corresponding parent course is also available.
