The Many Ways to Help CHC
CHC is deeply appreciative of all the people who support our mission. Two of those wonderful people are Deborah and Joseph Corcoran. When Deb and Joe decide whether to support a non-profit organization, their main criteria are:
1) Staying Local--they want to know their dollars support their community
2) Supporting Children--they recognize today's children are tomorrow's leaders
3) Supporting Critical Needs--so their funding can have the greatest impact
CHC manages all its own fundraising, so you can be sure that every dollar you donate stays with the agency! Below are some of the ways CHC will put your money to work for our community:
- $40 buys a box of copier paper for program materials and student activities
- $77 provides an hour of alcohol, tobacco, and drug prevention education
- $300 pays for snacks and incentives for one 14-week session of the All Stars anti-gang program
- $600 covers the cost of materials for a 12-week session of Club Ophelia, a bullying prevention program for girls
- $8,000 provides a Project SUCCESS advisor in a school for one full day per week for the entire school year
