2014 Highmark Walk

Thank you for making our Annual Fundraiser a success!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the 2014 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community!  There were tons of prizes, raffles, give-aways, and activities for the whole family on a warm and sunny Saturday May 31st, 2014.  Over 1,000 walkers turned out to show support for 24 local nonprofits.  Our staff and board were thrilled to have 110 friends bring their energy and smiles to the Walk on behalf of the Center for Humanistic Change!

We would like to thank all of you - our supporters, donors, and sponsors - together we raised more than 100% of our goal of $8,000! The funds raised will directly support the youth programs we deliver to the community on topics, such as: conflict resolution and peacemaking, prevention of bullying and violence, risks and consequences of internet use, and positive communication for families. Our Annual Fundraiser is underwritten by Highmark Blue Shield, so that 100% of the funds we raise go directly to our youth programs.

Humanistic Change is the process of developing our personal assets and strengths, and using them to make conscious, responsible choices.
Thank you for being a part of the change by supporting us!
