 Humanistic Change is excited to host the 2017 Spring SAP Consortium\, a se
 ssion on increasing cultural competency and how to be our best selves. Thi
 s session is an opportunity for participants to: \n\n•   Practice apprecia
 ting\, celebrating and respecting diversity\n•   Learn and understand cycl
 es of oppression\n•   Explore anything you’ve wanted to know about race\, 
 culture \n    and diversity\n\n<b>Meet our Presenters:</b>\n\n<b>Phyllis A
 lexander\, MS</b> has been a champion for social justice for several decad
 es and a civil rights professional for over twenty years working for both 
 corporate America and city government. \n\nPhyllis is an experienced coali
 tion builder and trainer and credits her skills to her 27-year affiliation
  with the National Coalition Building Institute\, an international social 
 justice/ social change organization. Phyllis has had several roles with NC
 BI including senior trainer and since 2012 as President of the NCBI Board 
 of Directors. In addition to facilitating NCBI workshops including their W
 elcoming Diversity training\, Phyllis facilitates a variety of conversatio
 ns ranging from courageous conversations about race\, to strategic plannin
 g sessions for boards.\n\nPhyllis has a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics
  and later received a Master’s of Science in Community Economic Developmen
 t from Southern New Hampshire University. \n\nRecently retired as the City
  of Allentown Neighborhood Coordinator\, Phyllis is an active member of he
 r community. Her community engagement includes volunteering as a board mem
 ber of the Freedom Memorial\, a local non-profit dedicated to commemoratin
 g the life and continuing the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & Coretta
  Scott King. Phyllis is also the Vice President of the Resurrected Communi
 ty Development Corporation (RCDC)\, a faith based non-profit dedicated to 
 social justice. Per their vision statement\, RCDC is committed to creating
  communities of equity\, excellence and empowered residents.  \n\nPhyllis 
 has been recognized for her community service\, receiving an Allentown YWC
 A Women’s Leadership Award and the Humanitarian Award from the Allentown N
 AACP. Phyllis has two daughters and lives in Allentown\, PA.\n\nNative of 
 Southeast San Diego\, <b>Tyrone Russell\, MS</b> is an entrepreneur\, moti
 vational speaker\, and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. 
 Tyrone graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelors of Arts in Socio
 logy. He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and College Stud
 ent Personnel from Shippensburg University. Tyrone has worked for numerous
  colleges and universities as an Assistant Director of Residence Life\, a 
 Counselor\, Instructor\, and Program Coordinator. He has mentored numerous
  students and supervised over 150 individuals within 9 different teams dur
 ing his short yet influential campaign. From dealing with bias incidences\
 , and managing significant crisis\, to developing large-scale social event
 s for both youth and adult professionals\, Tyrone has a rich history of se
 rvice. He currently serves on a regional committee dedicated to constructi
 ng high school leadership conferences in Eastern Pa\, conducts team buildi
 ng workshops for teachers and corporate staffs in the Northeast\, and desi
 gns and executes seminars and training for youth. Until 2016 Tyrone worked
  as the Director of Multicultural Affairs at Lehigh University. Tyrone now
  serves as the Coordinator of Racial and Ethnic Justice with the Community
  Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley\, and CEO of Lehigh Valley Faces Ma
 rketing and Development firm.\n\n** Three (3) Act 48 hours will be given t
 o those from school districts that pre-approved this event.  Pick up your 
 certificate at the end of the event before leaving.**\n\n<b>The informatio
