Improving Your Odds

Improving Your Odds is a secondary level curriculum designed by the Minnesota Institute of Public Health. The program helps young people acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to make choices about whether, when, and how much to gamble. Students will have an opportunity to develop a personal set of guidelines for gambling if their decision is to gamble. Students will also learn how to recognize a gambling problem, what to say to someone whose gambling concerns them, and where to go for help. This curriculum can be used in conjunction with the video "What Should I Say? What Can I Do?"
