    Arlene J Lund

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Arlene joined CHC in July of 2016. She holds an Master in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Kutztown University. Arlene has worked in several other Lehigh Valley non-profit settings and comes to CHC with a background in administration, community-building, fundraising, budgeting and program planning. She is active with the Liberty High School Alumni Band and Friends of Music, Inc. Arlene is an avid swimmer and obedience/therapy dog trainer.

    Kristen Hettrick

    SENIOR DIRECTOR, PREVENTION AND STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAM.   Kris brings a background in adult education and experience in planning, organizing, and implementing solutions. She previously served as Education Services Manager providing leadership for three programs: adult literacy, family literacy with early childhood education, and summer learning (K-4).

    Karen Korpics

    SENIOR DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS, PRGRAM EFFECTIVENESS. Karen has been with CHC for over 16 years.  An avid family person, Karen lives in Nazareth with her husband, 4 children and 2 grandchildren and enjoys reading, going for walks with her dogs, and playing baseball with her grandsons.  Karen truly believes that given the right tools people will make good, healthy choices.  A Certified Prevention Specialist, she is also trained in Program fidelity and adaptations, Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Prevention framework, Student Assistance program, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Trauma Informed Care, Substance Abuse Prevention, and First Aid Mental Health.  Karen holds a BA in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida and is a certified Elementary teacher in both PA and FL.

  • Maria Alonso-Tomlinson, MALD
    Maria Alonso-Tomlinson, MALD

    COMMUNITY OUTREACH & SENIOR PREVENTION SPECIALIST
    Maria holds a Masters of Arts in Leadership Development from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, PA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Communications from Sacred Heart University in San Juan, PR. She has been working with organizations in the Lehigh Valley in areas of parenting education, case management, recruitment, foster care, supervision, facilitation, and the creation of workshops. Maria enjoys building relationships in the community, understanding that working together and unifying efforts help the well-being of the community. Maria is a mother of two and along with her husband they serve with TEAMS for Medical Missions which provides medical services in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. In her spare time, she likes to paint, make jewelry, hair bows, and reading.

    McKenna Bast

    SAP LIAISON. McKenna joined CHC September 2018. She holds a B.A. in Psychology & Public Health from Muhlenberg College and is a recent grad from Kutztown’s M.S School Counseling program. McKenna has served on a SAP Team since Fall 2017 as part of her school counseling certification. Previously, she worked for a local private psychology practice. In her free time, McKenna is an avid hiker and animal lover.

    Annie Bickert

    OFFICE MANAGER. Annie has worked at CHC almost since its inception and acts as historian to the many changes CHC has gone through over the years.  She lives in Nazareth with and is the mother to two daughters and Grannie to two grandchildren.  Annie enjoys reading, gardening, and attending Nazareth Girl’s basketball games.

  • Brandon Chasse, PhD
    Brandon Chasse, PhD

    MANAGER, CROSSROADS/PROJECT SUCCESS, SENIOR PREVENTION SPECIALIST. Brandon joined the CHC in October 2018. He has a PhD in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Studies, a field that explores the forces of the psyche and how they stimulate the body’s capacity to heal itself, from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Before working for the CHC, Brandon lived in Phoenix, AZ and held a private practice providing HeartMath® training to help individuals reduce stress and build resilience and also did outreach for a reputable behavioral health treatment center. Outside of working at the CHC, Brandon enjoys exploring the East Coast with his wife Geny, who is currently a medical resident for St. Luke’s University Health Network.

    Stephanie Dorney

    TEAM LEADER AND SENIOR STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM LIAISON, COMMONWEALTH APPROVED TRAINER (CAT).   Stephanie joined the CHC staff as a SAP Liaison in November of 2016. She holds a BA in English from Moravian College.  Before joining the CHC staff Stephanie worked at Whitehall Middle School in 8th grade Special Education, where one of her duties was to establish and maintain working relationships between teachers, parents, students.

    Nicole Elias

    SAP LIAISON - Nicole started working with CHC in August of 2019. She brings with her 18 years of experience delivering programs in school. She earned a BA in Sociology with a minor in Elementary Education and concentration in psychology from Moravian College. Before joining CHC, Nicole worked as a SAP Liaison and Education Specialist for schools in Northampton and Lehigh County.

    Jennifer Hanley

    SAP LIAISON - Jenn recently earned a Masters of Public Health degree from West Chester University of PA, where she also earned her BA in Psychology and a graduate certificate in Gerontology. Before joining the SAP team, she worked with CHC as a Project Success Mentor in Whitehall- Coplay Middle School and Whitehall High School. She is eager to be fully immersed into her new role as SAP Liaison as she thrives most working in teams, and having the opportunity help students overcome hindrances which keep them from reaching their highest potential in school.

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Before joining CHC, Pam was employed in the advertising department at The Express-Times/lehighvalleylive.com over 40 years. She and her husband, Bob, live in Bethlehem and are the parents of two daughters.

    Taylor Keinert

    SENIOR PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Taylor joined the Center for Humanistic Change in October 2018. Taylor obtained her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Cedar Crest College where she is currently working to complete her Master’s Degree in the Art of Education. Prior to coming to the Center, Taylor worked in many school districts as a Substitute teacher and Instructional Assistant. She has also worked in an Early Care and Education Center as an associate teacher where she worked with children ages infant to Pre-K. Outside of working at the Center, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband, and puppy, as well as traveling as much as she can.

    Karen Kohn

    SAP ADMINISTRATOR. Karen is a retired educator in the Bethlehem Area School District with a Master’s Degree in Education from Penn State University. During her Freedom High School tenure she was Department Chair of the Health and Physical Education department, head coach of the girls Gymnastic team and the girls Tennis Team. Karen was inducted into the Freedom HS Athletic Hall of Fame. Karen was also the SAP Coordinator at Freedom for 20 years, and an executive member of the PASAP Board of Directors for 7 of the 8 years that she served. She was also a member of the Dept. of Education SAP Advisory Board for 6 years. Now employed at the Center for Humanistic Change, Karen has been a Commonwealth Approved Trainer since 2009. She does many different types of SAP related trainings, organizes 4 annual SAP Consortiums .

    Theresa Krohn

    MANAGER, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT. Theresa joined CHC in July of 2017. She holds an MSW from Marywood University and a BSW from Cedar Crest College. Theresa has worked in several other Lehigh Valley non-profit settings and comes to CHC with a background in fundraising, budgeting and program planning. She is very active in the Lehigh Valley arts community as a dance instructor, as well as a member of a local tap dance company.

    Meredith Makoul

    SAP LIAISON - Meredith joined the CHC staff as a SAP Liaison in August of 2019. She holds a Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies at James Madison University in Virginia. Prior to joining CHC, she was a SAP counselor in various Northampton schools and also worked two years as an Outpatient Therapist working with children and teens. Meredith is going on her sixth year of coaching field hockey and recently took the position of the Assistant Field Hockey Coach for the Allentown School District.

    Delia Mitchell

    SAP LIAISON. Delia Mitchell Joined CHC September 10, 2018 as a SAP Liaison. She holds a Master’s in Justice Administration and Paralegal Degree from the University of Louisville, Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Kentucky State University. Delia has worked in Social Impact for 15 years. She’s worked for the Jefferson County Public School System as a Family Service Worker, she gained her (CADAC) Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Certification while doing one on one Addiction Counseling and Relapse prevention groups. Delia became a Certified Life Coach in March, 2015 and has provided trainings on Self Care and parenting groups. Outside of work Delia teaches the elementary Sunday school class at her church.

  • Rosalie Moyer
    Rosalie Moyer

    SAP Liaison. Rosalie graduated from Penn State Univ. with a Bachelors Degree in Adm. Of Justice and a Masters Degree from The Univ. of Illinois. She has over 30 years of experience in the Social Services Field. She worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer, Foster Care Caseworker/Resource Worker, Licensed Foster Care Homes, Child Abuse and Neglect Investigator and most recently a Student Assistant Therapist. She has a dog Nasa and a cat Nugget, and loves to travel and help run bus trips for a friend.

    Donna Rohrbach

    DATA SPECIALIST. Donna was born and raised in Allentown. She worked 26 years for Sprirax/Sarco as a cost accounting clerk, then 15 years at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley as a liaison between donor and agencies. Donna started at CHC as a part-time employee September 4, 2017.  In her free time she volunteers @ McKinley Elementary School in Allentown.  Donna has been married for 40 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

  • Noel Sanabria
    Noel Sanabria

    PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Noel joined the Center for Humanistic Change in 2018 and lives in Bethlehem with his wife of 17 years and two children. He currently prepares and facilitates several programs for the incarcerated population. He has worked in small group settings for many years, whether it is facilitating or developing a group or groups. He is also engaged in community outreach work which includes several elementary and middle schools. He is currently pursuing a BA in Psychology and Counseling through Liberty University. Noel is currently a Senior Pastor of a thriving multi-cultural church in Bethlehem. His greatest passion is to see people’s lives transformed.

    Neda Soltani

    SENIOR PREVENTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST. Neda joined the Center in 2017. She has a background in social work and in the health behavior sciences. Her professional experiences include outreach for a juvenile justice diversionary project in South Carolina, teaching health literacy to inner city youth, and behavioral modification with youth.

    SAP LIAISON/MENTOR - Wendy has been working with the CHC as a Project Success mentor for the last four years, and has now joined the SAP team. Wendy has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the New School for Social Research in NYC.

  • Jimmy Torres
    Jimmy Torres

    SAP Liaison. Jimmy Torres joined CHC in September, 2019 as a SAP Liaison. Jimmy has worked in the business community and as a youth leader at his church where he coordinated a community service project to improve a local church. He also led youth to a humanitarian aid trip to Costa Rica. Jimmy is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Jimmy will serve as the SAP Liaison in the Allentown school district and will be responsible for the additional Allentown School District Grant.

  • Lisa Wolff
    Lisa Wolff

    SENIOR MANAGER, SPECIAL PROJECTS. Lisa has participated in the development of programs such as Current Drug Trends, HOPE (Heroin and Opioid Prevention Education), and Awareness and Action: How We Can Help Prevent Suicide. Lisa facilitates a variety of CHC programs throughout the Lehigh Valley. She also mentors middle and high school students through CHC’s Project SUCCESS program. A graduate of Lehigh University, Lisa completed her M.Ed. at DeSales University, and taught fourth and sixth grade students in the East Penn School District before joining the Center in 2013.
