Violence And Bullying
"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself." --Harvey Firestone
CHC's violence and bullying prevention programs are designed to reduce impulsive and aggressive behaviors while building social competence, empathy, and problem solving skills. In keeping with our philosophy that people learn best by doing, many of our programs involve the use of stories and role-playing. Age-appropriate units guide students to develop skills in empathy, respect for themselves and others, impulse control, problem-solving, managing anger and emotions, and conflict resolution.
